Shake Shack to open at the Summit this month
It will be the fast-growing franchise’s first location in the state.

Alabama will get its first Shake Shack franchise later this month, when a location opens at the Summit on August 22, AL.com reports.
The location was first announced in March and will create between 80 and 90 full- and part-time jobs. All proceeds from the restaurant’s soft opening will benefit the Cahaba River Society.
Shake Shack is a New York-based hamburger chain initially founded in 2004. It has been considered one of the fastest-growing food chains in the world, with 168 locations worldwide.
