Kimberly Tajuan McCarty, 47, who is the founder of the human trafficking victim shelter “WellHouse”, has been arrested on charges related to drugs, stolen identities and stolen property, according to the Tarrant Police Department.

On Wednesday, Augustd 8, a search warrant was executed at a house on Jackson Boulevard following a three-month investigation. TPD reported that the search yielded “several guns, large amounts of cocaine, heroin, prescription medication, stolen property, stolen identities, and marijuana.”

McCarty was arrested along with Octavious Owens, 37, and Jordan Owens, 21. They were both charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and their bond was set at $2,500. McCarty faces charges of trafficking cocaine, trafficking stolen identities, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

McCarty’s bond was set at $95,000.
