Two suspects identified in Birmingham double homicide
Detectives have obtained warrants for both capital murder and burglary against both suspects.
The Birmingham Police Department have reported reports that warrants have been obtained in connection with a homicide investigation of two elderly Birmingham residents.
The victims, Mary Holt, 67, and Joe Holt, 68, were discovered on Thursday August 2, 2018, at 8720 Ninth Ct. Cir. S.
Two suspects have been identified as Kristen Leigh Gullion, 30, of Cullman and Zachary Taylor Phillips, 23, of Arab, Alabama.
Detectives have obtained warrants for both capital murder and burglary against both suspects.
The suspects will remain in the custody of the Florida law enforcement authorities for unrelated felony charges and will be transported back to Birmingham on a later date.
