Water main breaks in Fairfield, repair anticipated by this afternoon

Some Fairfield residents have found themselves without water after a break in a water main Tuesday night, AL.com reports.
Birmingham Water Works spokesperson Rick Jackson said that water should be back on for residents by 5 p.m., following “quite a bit of clean-up.”
The impacted area includes businesses and homes near the Western Hills mall.
