Hoover Police sport pink badges for breast cancer awareness

HOOVER – According to WVTM the Hoover Police Department will be doing something to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Uniformed officers will be sporting pink badges. Pink badges will also appear on their vehicles.
The goal of the project is to raise awareness about the disease. It is also hoped that increased awareness will lead to prevention.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
