Pleasant Grove Police Department swaps “10-4” for “Roll Tide”, “War Eagle”

Pleasant Grove Police Department swaps “10-4” for “Roll Tide”, “War Eagle”

PLEASANT GROVE — For football season this year the Pleasant Grove Police department are going to do things a little differently, according to WIAT 42.

Instead of answering affirmative with the regular “10-4” code officers of that city will instead be responding with “Roll Tide” or “War Eagle”.

“A lot of guys are stuck at work and they are having to try and listen to the game on the radio so the passion is still there,” Lt. Danny Reid said. “But they are stuck at work because you know we never close. I thought it would be a lot of fun to bring some of their school spirit and who they follow to just a regular day at work.”
According Lt. Reid a great many officers and dispatchers are looking forward to Saturday when they can acknowledge their favorite team.
