Man found dead on the road after Wednesday night homicide in Birmingham
BIRMINGHAM – Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in Birmingham on Wednesday.
At approximately 10:20 p.m. officers arrived at the 1100 block of Meadow Lane in a response to shots being reported. Once on scene the officers found the victim lying in the roadway and suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead, by the Jefferson County Coroner, on scene.
The victim’s identity has not been confirmed at this time. Officers detained a person that is believed to have additional information in this case.
