Pinson City Council to hold next meeting at Center Point Fire Station 2
The council will celebrate the opening of a new clean room at the fire station.
The Pinson City Council will hold its next meeting on Thursday, July 19 at the Center Point Fire District Station 2 instead of City Hall on Main Street.
The re-scheduled meeting will take place before a ribbon cutting celebrating a new clean room at the station, which is located at 5175 Pinson Valley Parkway. The clean room functions as an area where items and clothing exposed to toxins after a fire can be sanitized.
Last month, the council voted to give $12,500 to the Center Point Fire District.
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. with no pre-council, followed by the ribbon cutting and a reception.
