Victim identified in Birmingham shootings that left 2 others injured
One person was killed while two others were wounded in a shooting during the early morning hours
The victim of a shooting that took place in the early morning Tuesday has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. Two other victims who were injured during the incident were taken to an area hospital.
The victim, identified as Dakisha Michelle Stutson, was a 41-year-old black female from Birmingham. She was killed during a shooting that took place at the 1600 block of 25th Street North before 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. She was pronounced dead at 2:41 a.m.
Two other victims were taken to UAB Hospital one of whom had life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not released details on the motive for the shootings.
