Annex Culinary Incubator opens in Birmingham
The facility includes room for 12 start-up culinary businesses.

The Annex Culinary Incubator, a commissary kitchen space in downtown Birmingham, held its soft opening this week, AL.com reports.
The Annex, which was developed in part by REV Birmingham, has one kitchen that can be shared among up to 12 “emerging or growing culinary businesses,” according to reports. That kitchen space will be rented out to those businesses; the Annex will also include event spaces for pop-up dinners and a space for a food truck incubation program. Executive Director Haden Smith says the space will likely expand to include private kitchens by the end of the year.
