See the NP: New after-hours clinic coming to Gardendale on Monday

GARDENDALE — A new after-hours clinic will be opening in Gardendale on Monday, according to WBRC.
WBRC reported “See the NP” is the brainchild of nurse practitioner Paul McDonald and will increase the options that people have about their health care.
“I wanted to bring something to this community that would really help it out,” McDonald told WBRC. “This north of Birmingham Gardendale area is kind of a medical desert almost considering population, and for after-hours care, there’s virtually nothing from ER Birmingham to ER in Cullman.”
McDonald also told WBRC that the clinic will offer a service that is more convenient for those that need it.
“Most people, they work normal jobs, the 8 to 5 or 8 to 6, and they have nothing for taking care of themselves afterwards,” said McDonald.
WBRC reported that See the NP will open will be open from the hours of 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and can be found at 2334 Decatur Highway.
