Birmingham Iron to travel to San Antonio for training camp

BIRMINGHAM – In an announcement made on Wednesday it was revealed that the Birmingham Iron, of the Alliance of American Football, will be traveling to San Antonio for its training camp which will begin on Jan. 4, according to WIAT.
WIAT reported that during training camp the roster will be slimmed down to 52 players on the active roster.
The Iron has players from Auburn, The University of Alabama, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of North Alabama, University of South Alabama and Troy.
The season begins one week after the Super Bowl and the Iron will have their inaugural game at Legion Field when they face off against the Memphis Express.
