BIRMINGHAM – A shooting on Wednesday occurred in Birmingham at around 3:15 p.m. at the Town Motel, according to Carol Robinson of Al.com.
The Town Motel is located in the 400 block of Third Avenue.
Responding officers advised that the victim had sustained a gun shot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to the hospital, his injuries were non-life-threatening.
The investigation, into a motive and an identity for the suspect, continues.
