Burt Reynolds dead at 82
FLORIDA – Actor Burt Reynolds died of a heart attack on Thursday morning, as reported by TMZ.
According to reports he was taken to a Florida hospital after going into cardiac arrest and his family was at his bedside when he passed away. The Hollywood legend was 82.
Reynolds brought a winning swagger to Hollywood that was part southern gentleman, part rascal, part hero, part every man and unerringly cool.
He will be remembered for his work in such staples of popular film as, “Smokey and the Bandit”, “Gator”, “Deliverance”, “The Longest Yard”, “Cannonball Run”, and as television’s B.L. Stryker and Quint from “Gunsmoke”.
