Homewood Police seek assistance in locating suspect of home break-in
HOMEWOOD – Police in Homewood need assistance locating a suspect from a home break-in, as reported by WVTM 13.
Thomas Chancey Wingo, 37, of Homewood, is wanted for a home break-in on Ridge Road, authorities have said.
According to officials Wingo and his brother, James Taylor Wingo, allegedly broke into the home sometime between the months of April and May.
James Wingo was brought in for questioning Monday. He escaped from the Homewood Jail but was later recaptured in downtown Homewood.
James Wingo is facing charges of third-degree burglary, theft of property, obstruction of justice by use of false identity and second-degree escape. He is in the Homewood Jail with bonds amounting to $120,000.
Thomas Wingo faces charges for third-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property.
