PINSON — According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) a garbage man was struck by a vehicle at approximately 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning. He was subsequently transported to the hospital, as reported by WIAT 42.
JCSO also advised that the incident occurred on Dewy Heights Road and Dug Hollow Road.
It is reported that the victim is alert and was taken to UAB hospital where he received treatment.
