Nurse Practitioner Rodney Huffstutler now on board at Lemak Health in Gardendale
From the Jefferson County Journal staff
GARDENDALE –Lemak Health introduced Rodney Huffstutler, CRNP, DC as one of the newest providers at their Gardendale facility. Huffstutler is a family nurse practitioner. He received his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Prior to obtaining his Master of Nursing, Huffstutler successfully ran Oneonta Chiropractic Center, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the neuro-musculoskeletal system.
A press release from the company said Huffstutler’s 20 years of previous chiropractic work made him the perfect addition to the Lemak Health team, and a great example of an inter-professional healthcare provider.
Along with his medical skills, Huffstutler is also a licensed private pilot, a previous white-water river guide, farmer, and a member of the Alabama Home Builders Association. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and building things.
“I’m looking forward to serving our community, and working with our area’s athletes this fall in the surrounding schools such as Fultondale High School, Appalachian High School, and the J.B. Pennington Tigers,” Huffstutler said. “Communities like ours have a unique balanced need for orthopedic care between sports medicine, athletic injuries and total joint or arthritis related treatments.”
Patients can request an appointment online with Huffstutler at Lemak Health Gardendale clinic at www.lemakhealth.com or by calling centralized scheduling at 205.453.7550.
The Lemak Health Gardendale facility is located at 2215 Decatur Highway, Suite 117, Gardendale.
