A water main break in Bessemer has resulted in several government buildings closing early on Friday.
CBS42 reports that the break has occurred at the intersection of 18th Street North and 10th Avenue North. The issue has caused water outages throughout Bessemer, Brighton, Lipscomb, and Midfield. The break is expected to be repaired by this afternoon.
Bessemer City Hall and the Bessemer Recreation Center closed at noon due to the outage.
