Lipscomb police chief arrested on drug charges
The Lipscomb Police Chief was booked on Friday and released after posting bond.
Lipscomb Police Chief Brian Scott Martin was arrested Friday and faces two drug-related charges.
Martin, an Odenville resident, was arrested by Odenville Police and booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City at 12:30 p.m. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree.
Martin was released after posting a $1,500 bond. Efforts to reach him for a comment were not successful.
A message was left for the Lipscomb Mayor Brenda Renz but has not been returned.
