Birmingham high-schooler killed in drive-by shooting
Arielle Lashawn Parker-Jefferies, 16, was killed just after midnight on Sunday morning.
A 16-year-old girl was killed in a drive-by shooting in Birmingham on Sunday, AL.com’s Carol Robinson reports.
Arrielle Lashawn Parker-Jefferies, a rising senior at Wenonah High School, was shot just after midnight Sunday morning on the 200 block of Westwood Drive when a dark-colored vehicle fired into her car. Investigators said that there were “very few details” in the investigation.
The incident marks the 55th homicide in Birmingham this year.
