New Italian restaurant opening in Mountain Brook next month
MidiCi, a Neapolitan pizza restaurant, will open in Lane Parke in August.
Mountain Brook Mayor Stewart Welch’s “restaurant trail” challenge will be getting a little longer this summer. MidiCi, a Neapolitan pizza restaurant, is slated to open in Lane Parke next month, the Birmingham Business Journal reports.
The restaurant, which will be located at 270 Rele St., was originally slated to open in June. It will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Friday and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
The restaurant is described by franchisee Lane Carrick as “open, warm, and elegant, and offers seating under an indoor tree, by a fireplace on the patio, at a sit-down bar, or even at a communal table.”
MidiCi is a chain restaurant with multiple locations throughout the U.S. The Mountain Brook location will be its first in Alabama. Previously, its Atlanta location had been closest to Jefferson County.
