Secret Stages festival announces first part of lineup

Courtney Marie Andrews, Dommel Mosel, Andrew Bryant and more confirmed for Birmingham-based festival.

Birmingham’s Secret Stages Music Discovery Festival has revealed the first 17 artists of this year’s lineup, featuring a mix of local favorites and national touring acts. The festival is slated to take place from August 3-4 in Birmingham’s Avondale district.

Three Birmingham artists are confirmed for the festival, including country/Americana singer-songwriter Will Stewart, pop-rock band Dommel Mosel, and “weirdo rock” group Phantom Limb.

You can read Jefferson County Journal‘s interview with Will Stewart here.

Andrew Bryant — a Mississippi-based singer-songwriter with Birmingham ties, also known for his work with the group Water Liars — will also perform.

The first lineup announcement is also significant for its inclusion of Courtney Marie Andrews, a nationally recognized Americana artist touring behind her latest album, May Your Kindness Remain, which garnered her glowing write-ups in Rolling Stone and NPR.
