Suspect charged in shooting at Lakeshore Walmart
A suspect has been charged with attempted murder following the Tuesday morning shooting.
A security guard at the Walmart on Lakeshore Parkway in Homewood has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting Tuesday morning that left one man injured.
The Homewood Star reports that Anthony Lamont Winston, 34, was charged by Homewood police following the incident, which took place Tuesday morning at 1 a.m. Winston had allegedly been in an altercation with the victim prior to firing his gun. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his torso and was released from the hospital later that morning.
Winston is being held in Jefferson County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
