Travel Channel host Andrew Zimmern to film in Birmingham
He’ll visit the Market at Pepper Place, Saw’s Juke Joint, OvenBird, and more.
The Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern will be in Birmingham this weekend to film his new series The Zimmern List, AL.com reports.
Zimmern, who has hosted shows such as Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre World, and Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations, will visit restaurants including Eagle’s Restaurant, Miss Myra’s Pit Bar-B-Q, OvenBird, and Saw’s Juke Joint.
But he’ll spent the most time with Highlands Bar and Grill owner Frank Stitt — who recently took home a nationwide culinary award — including traveling with him to the Market at Pepper Place.
The Zimmern List, currently in its first season, sees the host revisiting some of his favorite food destinations.
