Woodfin previews Birmingham’s 2019 budget

Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin will present his proposal for the city’s 2019 budget on Tuesday. At $436 million, the budget will be the city’s largest ever — and, Woodfin told councilors Wednesday, would address issues such as the city’s unfunded pension liability and his campaign promises of neighborhood revitalization.
