Deaths of elderly Birmingham couple ruled as homicide
No arrests have yet been made in the case.
On Saturday, August 4, the Birmingham Police Department reported that two victims of a homicide investigation that occurred the evening of August 2 have been positively identified.
The victims were discovered on Thursday at 8720 9th Ct. Cir. S.
The victims were identified as Mary Holt, 67, and Joe Holt, 68, of Birmingham.
Police said that the investigation has been reclassified as a homicide. There are no arrests in this case.
