Trussville
Two new restaurants coming to Trussville next spring
Chicken Salad Chick and Metro Diner, along with seven new retail spaces, are headed to Gadsden Highway.
Two new restaurants — Chicken Salad Chick and Metro Diner — are headed to Trussville and should be open by next spring, the Birmingham Business Journal reports.
The two restaurants are part of a development located at 2050 and 2058 Gadsden Hwy., which began construction last month. They’re expected to be completed by early April.
The development has space for seven more retailers, but will likely only host one restaurant in addition to the two already announced.
Chicken Salad Chick is an Auburn-based chain with 85 locations throughout the Southeast. It already has Jefferson County locations in Homewood, Hoover, Southside, and the Village at Lee Branch. You can see the restaurant’s menu here.
The Metro Diner is a restaurant chain with locations across the country. The Trussville location will be the third in Jefferson County, joining restaurants in Vestavia and Birmingham. You can see Metro Diner’s menu here.
