U.S Marshalls get their man in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM – On Wednesday afternoon the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Task Force arrested a suspect alleged to be connected with a shootout in south Alabama, as reported by Carol Robinson of Al.com.

31-year-old Kerry Calvin Bracy was located by federal law enforcement at an apartment complex in the 700 block of Springville Road.  Bracy tried to evade capture, through a back door, but was captured and taken into custody.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has wanted Brady, and another unnamed suspect, since he was allegedly involved in a drug deal gone bad.  The incident ended with the victim, the alleged drug dealer, being shot by either Bracy or his associate -according to authorities.  The victim was airlifted to a Pensacola hospital where his injuries were attended to.

After the shooting, the suspects fled the scene fled in a gray, 2016 Chrysler 200. Bracy had outstanding warrants for first-degree assault and first-degree robbery
